AIMP for Android
In this year, we released three minor versions of the mobile player for Android OS.
v4.10
Focused on improvements of music library (aka “My Music”) that has been introduced in AIMP4: we’ve improved performance, extended number of sorting templates, made possible to remove files physically, and also — we’ve added integration to Android Auto.
v4.11
Focused on tags editor: the JAudioTagger library that was used before, has been replaced by ATL ported from AIMP for ПК. This had a positive effect on the stability and performance of the editor, as well as significantly reduced size of executable file.
v4.12
Focused on Android 15. Despite the fact that there are almost no visible changes compared to the previous release, quite a lot has changed inside the app in order to support the new requirements that Google introduced in Android 15.

- Sound engine: silence removing on track edges algorithm has been improved
- Sound engine: support for 64-bit samples

On March 15, 2013, we have published first mobile version of AIMP. 10 years have passed since that moment! In that time we’ve come a long way – from the simplest version with just a few buttons and playlist, to a version that supports multi-playlists, NAS, cloud storages and much more. Yes, perhaps the development was not as fast as many people wanted, but Android also evolved: the requirements for applications changed, restrictions were introduced, new versions of firmware based on this OS appeared with a different behavior of basic functions. Much of the time was simply spent on adapting the application to the new things.
