disable playlist update on play (at least for radiostations)

Hi,

I have a huge playlist (XSPF format) of my radiostations (~350). I in this playlist I store the URL, name of the station (as Title) , Image & Genre. This allows me to sort and group the playlist by genre and/or name.

The problem is that when playing a radio station, the information of the playlist is updated with currently playing song (Artist, Title and Genre),  which also changes the grouping and ordering of the playlist. Additionally, this removes the only way to know which station I'm currently tuned in.

Could this be avoided somehow?

I don't know in which way you gonna implement this, but it would ask that this feature also works on a dynamic playlist for the following reason:

The playlist I generate (XSPF), is generated externally with an Excel file which allows me to modify and apply changes more easily. In AIMP I use a dynamic playlist which imports this first list, so that the changes in the first list are imported automatically. I would like to keep this great feature.

It will take the read only state of playlist into account.

IMHO, the lock (read only) state does not make much sense on playlist with Preimages (smart playlist), as it removes its main functionality: to update the list automatically from external sources, specially for Preimage=Playlist.

Yes, you are right. Read only will disable playlist auto-update. Ok, I will think about better solution

Seems that radio stations no longer update the playlist on v5.10.2411, although I could not find this change it in the change log.
