bookmarks weird behavior

I'm trying to add bookmarks to a youtube music video (mp4) but something strange happens. Namely, when I click on a created bookmark for some reason a new bookmark is added to the bookmarks list and the timestamps of other bookmarks get changed! The same happens when I play just the aac stream extracted from the mp4 file. I'm using AIMP v5.40.2694 x64 on Windows 10.

I think you've setup auto-bookmark creation in app settings.

Indeed, I have "Auto bookmarks for tracks" checked, but I can't remember ever turning it on (It's a fresh install and I haven't changed any options beside assigning a hot key for adding bookmarks). Is it on by default? How exactly does this option work?
Also, what about the rest of the problem i.e. the changing timestamps? Is this really a bug? It doesn't happen with mp3s though.

No, it's just sorting by timestamp. Look:

Toggle the "Type" column to see the bookmark types. User bookmarks are those you've created yourself. Automatic bookmarks are those created when you pause playback.

The image above indicates that you're pausing playback. Logically, playback continues from the bookmarked position, and the time is updated during playback to reflect the new listening time from the previous bookmark.
