This AIMP Version is 5.00 build 2338 from portableapps.com
Is there a reason you downloaded from PortableApps.com instead of using the AIMP installer's built-in option to do a Portable install? When you start the installer, you will be given the option to choose Portable. No files are placed outside the chosen folder and no registry entries are made. And then you know you are using the official AIMP right from the website.
Maybe someone knows better which .ini affects the UI features so that it might be the reason for not working access to the scheduler?
I wish there was a way to repair just the scheduler issue and keep rest of the settings as they are.
... and when starting AIMP get this message now:"Plugin Manager Plugin "aimp_scheduler.dll" raised exception and will be automatically unloaded. We do not recommend you using this version of the plugin for stability reasons!"
I realized the only older AIMP data that I really cared about was/is my carefully over the time crafted many and long playlists so I saved them, removed all previous AIMP program versions, normally installed and portables, then put fresh portable version from AIMP site in its own folder again and copied saved playlists there under PLS, problem solved, life goes on. Took a few moments to go through the settings important for me, but I think it was just a good recap for rehearsal and purge of plugins and settings that were there without purpose.
