Hi all, have been using AIMP for as long as I can remember and have been delaying its update for sometime (almost a year perhaps). Recently, after updating it, the ReplayGain analysis seems to produce gains with lower target volume than before updating:
1) I first notice it when playing albums analysed before updating and after updating in the same playlist. The difference in volume is very noticeable - albums analysed before updating played louder than those analysed after updating.
2) To be sure, I reanalysed a few albums which were analysed before updating and the new gains are indeed lower now - I am expecting it to be the same (or close) to the previously analysed values.
Before I reanalyse my library, may any kind souls enlighten me whether:
a) Are there settings which I may have missed or that the update may have reset which lead to this behaviour? or
b) Is there a change in the ReplayGain analysis algorithm and I have no choice but to reanalyse my library?
Thank you!

What version of player you have used before an update? What is your version? Mobile or Desktop?

Hi Artem, I am using both the Desktop and Mobile versions - Desktop - to analyse and listen; Mobile - to listen.
However, I am sorry I could not pinpoint exactly which version was it before updating.
A quick check on the program files on my computer, there were files as old as July 2019, perhaps it was version 4.6x before updating? Hope it helps.

Just tried installing AIMP v4.60.2180 and AIMP v4.51.2084 (both installed as portable) to try out the analysis:
1) AIMP v4.51.2084 - Produces same gain values as the values analysed before update
2) AIMP v4.60.2180 - Produces same gain values as the values analysed after update.
So, my guess, the culprit is AIMP v4.60, build 2153 where the changelog mentions "Sound Engine: replaygain - analysis quality has been improved". If so, I may have no choice but to reanalyse my library then.
