How to use the podcast plugin?

Sorry for the basic question but I recently downloaded the most recent AIMP version (with the podcast plugin already installed but I have no idea how to use it. From what i can see online, are you supposed to paste in a link into the 'Podcast subscription' window, but it always shows the 'can't download at the specified URL' message. it's compatible with soundcloud and itunes right? Would appreciate a quick rundown, or maybe theres a guide on how it works somewhere? (i checked the plugin folder for a readme doc but couldnt find anything)
