I can't paste lyrics from the web or other applications. AIMP is able to search for lyrics on the web, but sometimes it is necessary to search manually on the web and paste them in the appropriate field.

This is because the Paste command in the context menu is greyed out. The Ctrl+V hotkey does not work either.

Right-click on the playlist track, then select either 'File Info', 'Lyrics' or 'Send to', Tag Editor'.

How yo copy the lyrics? Can it be pasted to notepad, for example?

Ctrl+C or right click, copy.

I can see the lyrics in the Windows clipboard (Win+V) and paste them into other applications such as Notepad, as well as into the latest stable version of AIMP (5.40.x).
Also, the Paste command remains greyed out when I copy lyrics from Notepad too.

My OS: Windows 11 25H2, build 26200.7171

What source is used for lyrics in this moment? Unfortunately, I failed to reproduce issue. I've tried to copy the text from firefox.

Copy lyrics, right click on track, file info, lyrics. The paste command is grayed out. I can paste in version 5.40.

I don't understand which screenshot you requested.

EDIT: I've just found the issue. The Paste command is greyed out when there is no mouse cursor in the Lyrics window. In other words, the Paste command via a right-click is unavailable when the cursor is absent.
This issue does not occur in version 5.40.

Yes! It seems that right mouse button click does not set focus to lyrics box! Thanks!
