How to make the button mark your status(exp. Like the play or pause button being a different color when in that state.

Create two buttons and change it visibility according the state. Please, look how it works in default skin with play/pause buttons

Thanks for the answer but I didn't understand how it works in practice
In the original skin, the play pause button is just one and I want them both separate, with an indicator on each of them.

So, refer to Skin Editor \ Help \ Manual. In the manual, refer to the "Skin Structure" \ "Controls" \ "Buttons" \ "Example: toggle button", "Example: hiding button".

Thanks for the help I solved the problem with the TASEDigitsDisplay button, which shows me the status of the button.
