Обязательно в сообщении указывайте версию ОС (операционной системы) и версию AIMP и как можно подробней (это поможет легче определиться с ответом и ускорит процесс).
Be sure to indicate the OS (operating system) version and AIMP version in your message and in as much detail as possible (this will make it easier to determine the answer and speed up the process).
So I did it according to the instructions. Aimpate.exe starts for a moment, stops and disappears from the task manager. Here is a report from that program.
Please try to reproduce an issue on this build:https://disk.yandex.ru/d/ClIiI_mP79J43w/v5.30/aimp_5.30.2540_w64_debug_fmm.exe
Have you tried debug version, as Soolo described:
maybe i should try the original version i had before?
stops and exits by itself
...but I tried the x64 portable version and it works. Why? It doesn't solve the problem, but it works. Maybe some error on my part during the installation?
Please note that sometimes the problem is a combination of circumstances and not the program. For example, a bad sector of the disk where the path to the player folder is written.
If the process is not in the task manager, then madExcept will not detect it.In the first post you wrote about freezing (different behavior), so it was suggested to try to collect information during the freezing process.
It's hard to say without the developer repeating and researching the problem, i.e. not according to the user. You wrote that you performed a reinstallation. Then there should be archives in the "!Backup" folder in the player folder. Upload them to a file sharing service or cloud. Provide a link. If you are afraid for secret information, then the link in the feedback on the site or in private messages to the developer.
Option 1. Check whether the path affects user settings. In the folder with the portable version, open AIMP.ini. Change the parameter to "UserMode=1".Check whether the programs work the same as those installed, but without integration into the system (context menu, associations).
Option 2. Check whether integration into the context menu has an effect.Install the regular version. In the player folder, open "System" and rename aimp_menu... to aimp_menu..._old.aimp_menu64.dll to aimp_menu64.dll_old && aimp_menu32.dll to aimp_menu32.dll_oldRestart your PC and check the programs are working.
But I figured something out. After a bit of testing, when I changed the language to Slovak or Czech for the tag editor, that's when it stopped working. In %appdata%/aimp I found the settings file - aimplate.ini, where I changed the language back to english or any other and the program started. Couldn't there be a bug somewhere in the language file? I tested it on the portable version with usermode=1
