I'm using the AIMP Portable Apps version. I've noticed that AIMP still uses the Windows local "Roaming" folder for active settings. Does the Portable version do this becasue for better Windows integration?
The AIMP installer from the AIMP website always offers the option to do its own Portable install during setup--as shown in the frame posted by Soolo (even though it's not the "recommended" one for some reason). Unlike the "Portable Apps" 3rd-party version, this one really does keep all files and settings in a single folder that you choose, nothing ends up the Windows "Roaming" folder or in the Registry. Once you select it, it allows you to pick the folder you want to put it in. It's the only version I've ever used.
