I want to use a portable one just for listening to music and creating playlists, and the other one just for manipulating the music library.
Yes, it would work. Just run the app with "/DEBUG" key
.. you got me now.. ... what is "/DEBUG" key .. coudnt even google it ...
I can make a shortcut?
How to copy ONLY player settings, interface look, shortcuts.. WITHOUT linking the music library.Copying ini file from the profile folder I get what I want but also player automatically links the music library which I don't want.
Can the player write ratings instantly in the ID of the file or do I have to go to the "Synchronize user-defined rating with tags of audio file" option manually each time after rating the songs although that option is checked under music library in the preferences?
By any chance, is it possible to set up both players to use the same playlists?
-In some of the older versions it was possible adding a whole folder from the file explorer (Total Commander in my case) to the AIMP, to play files or just to add them to one of the playlists, how to rewoke that option again?
Is the player showing ratings directly from the files or songs must be imported into the library first?
When I uncheck file extensions in one player it also unchecks in the other one.. probably they are both writing in the same registry
huh, so Im not lucky with listening to music and rating at the same time.. May I ask what is downside if the player reads rating tags directly from tags? It's been a long time but as I remember old Winamp was working that way.
