I suggest 2 options:
- Auto remove played file from playlist
- Auto disable played file from playlist
Just remove (or disable) played file automatically. It would be useful if we want to listen an album just one time and it would be very useful also to prevent the problems when using a Shuffle option, with this option no file would be played twice, or even more times!
Remove / disable file if it was played fully only, or if it was played to the end - not if the next file button/hotkey was used.
Thanks.

Thanks, it works.
The file is disabled when it starts playing, not when it ends, so it's not perfect, but it's still useful.
It works per playlist, so it's possible to enable it only for some playlists, this is very useful.

I have requested this at least a couple of times, but the developer doesn't seem interested in doing it.
I originally asked in the Suggestions section, then I thought I would ask in the
Plugins section
, but there is no interest.
I use single playlist mode and would them to be removed after completion.
In MediaMonkey and MusicBee, I can either add tracks manually or have Auto DJ add them. Foobar2000 has a plugin to enable it also.
As they are played, they are automatically removed (pruned) so the playlist doesn't get clogged up with played tracks. And it saves me removing them manually.
The player can be left to keep playing your Library for hours without any user input.
Even without Auto DJ, you can just load up a heap of tracks and let them play. The current playing track is always on top or bottom depending on how you have your player sorted.

Dypsis - thanks for the information, I added a bug report to that topic, it would be great if it would be fixed.
AutoSwitchers plugin is good, but it's just a workaround, the problem is, that if I start listed to one song and I have to pause / exit AIMP, I have to re-enable current song, otherwise it's skipped - and this plugin can't remove the songs from playlist.
I found the Track Preview topic in the Russian forum, it has 7 sites and 37929 views, I'll add the bug report there, could you help me with the bug confirmation please? Perhaps it will be fixed. Thanks.
Here is the link to my post with a bug report and suggestions.
