Ну и до кучи вопрос не совсем по теме: какой формат для socks-прокси должен быть в сетевых настройках AIMP ?

плеер не поддерживает socks прокси
некоторые китайские приложения поддерживают смешанный вариант но я заметил что часть запросов идут напрямую избегая настроек аимпа поэтому вам придётся плеер туннелировать

1. What is the order in which the plugin uses lyrics providers for requests? Can it be adjusted somehow?

The order used is the order the provider's script appears in the aimp_webLyrics.ini file.  Just cut/paste to change the order.  The lyric script title header begins as
[ly.*
Class=TAIMPLyricsWebPageBasedProvider

and album art sources
[aa.*
Class=TAIMPAlbumArtWebPageBasedProvider

2. What is the timeout for waiting for a request from a lyrics provider? Can it be adjusted somehow?

Unknown.  The searching stops as soon as what the plugin considers a "match" is found, and there is no way to tell it to continue the search if that result is obviously in error.  The plugin keeps no specific log of its own.

4. Is there a guide for the aimp_webLyrics.ini section options so that you can add your own lyrics provider without guessing what's what (and without racking your brains)?

No, but I wish there was!!  The custom file I maintain here (https://aimp.ru/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=57148.0;attach=76207) is the product of harvesting scripts posted by those who are both experts in the composition, and generous enough to share it.
BTW, using HTTP/2 now for validation instead of HTTP/1 can avoid the Cloudflare inspection that stops many searchers.

ОК. Понял. Поменял провайдеров местами, ориентируясь на строку "by:" в *lrc - файлах. Там в основном только 2 провадйера

Это плохо Особенно учитывая, что сайт может быть специфически заблокированным. Отсутствие регулируемых таймаутов, как и отстутствие лога запросов-ответов делает процесс написания и отладки провайдеров делом крайне нетривиальным Мб автор прикрутит какую панельку с логом (можно отдельным окном, как в VLC) или текстовый файл для отладки ?

Т.е. все пилят провайдеров не имея каких-либо инструкций для aimp_webLyrics.ini ? Большинство опций в принципе понятно (Class, CustomHeaders, SearchQuery, etc), но некоторые опции типа PostProcessExpression вызывают вопросы. Плюс неясно, насколько большой доступный для aimp_webLyrics.ini список опций. Автор запилил неплохой плагин, но вменяемого readme не оставил :/ Ну или я плохо искал :/
