A complaint from a nevvcomer

Novv i have just found this seemingly pretty neat music player, and still using it and vvanted to point out some issues I have for portable.

But i just vvanna point one thing out, mixing the Russian vvith English is terrible, it usually do not do very good.

Dividing up the forum into 2 languages vvould be preferable. Like one section for English, the other for Russian, makes things so much easier as I cannot read Russian.

That vvass just a biggie I kinda felt needed to be expressed.

another thing i had vvhile making an account.... and apparently it made the accound anyvvay, so that vvas good, but still sorta confusing. Picture included, I then found out it had made the account, but just somevvhat odd.... At least i could join the forum even after it telling me about the email not being correct.... but it is an vvorking email indeed.

another hazzle that tend to make issues and not vvork. And I do not vvanna sit and copy paste every single time to a translator to be able to read it.
It is in my opinion a mess vvhen English and Russian is mixed - and just makes some people give up and end up leaving.

Like that is probably my biggest issue vvith AIMP spotted. Like I vvould prefer the division and keep avvay from the Russian and stay in the English parts.

Funny hovv i made a thread on this in English and it just had to be moved and mixed into some Russian thread, for vvho to vvitness, and yet lets make an English thread aftervvards. So i vvass not allovved to have a thread on the subject, to talk to English people in English, yet by all means let the moderater make one after he has butchered my ovvn thread. As i vvass Shovving off both bridge and the avvesome vizualizer plugin, but I guess that just could not have its ovvn English thread and had to be moved over to an all Russian Thread at the bottom as it goes, that fevv vvill ever take a look on.

But anyvvay let me then reupload, again again, the cool visualizer that is open source vvhere you can actually see the music. As i doubt fevv vvill ever see my English thread that vvass made into a post in a pure Russian thread, like make it make any sense.

I think it is vvass a moderater butthole move, but as it goes, can't make things up these days.

everything in the thread is Russian beside my post - I just do not get mixing the 2 together, I do not read Russian and never vvill be able to.

Like everybody knovvs, or should knovv, English is the computer default language of the internet since its very birth.
Like I am not a native English speaker, but accept that English vvass alvvays the norm to use on the internet, not mixing of tongues. Did not matter vvhere you came from, everything digital vvass in English.

I do not vvant my English post mixed into a Russian thread, vvhich I cannot read anyvvay vvithout difficulty.

Not a fan of SMForum either, but anyvvay - there is some foundational issues vvith the forum softvvare that is not possible in it. And the programmers are not going to fix it I knovv.

phpBB and https://github.com/MioVisman/FluxBB_by_Visman and https://forkbb.org can do the thing of kinda a nevvs kind of thing - by the vvay the later 2 is made by a Russian, sadly he also does this thing of mixing Russian and English and it is a real, in lag of better vvording, turn off.

But I knovv all this forum thing is complicated so as is, fine for vvhat it is used for. But Visman is another Russian guy and if you ever vvanted to support his project by using it.... vvelll, you probably have more then enough to do.

but again it does this mixing of tongues, and I seriously hate it. Like these translation things are far from straight and vvorking correctly and it just get bothersome and confusing.

What problem are you trying to solve? How switching to a different forum engine solve the problem of mixed languages? How can this be solved in principle?

Just vvanted to point out a fellovv country man of your nation is programming on a forum softvvare that is in the open source spirit could be helped by using his softvvare - no vvories it vvas just to avvareness that it existed. And he speaks Russian as vvell, so you guys could take a talk if you ever vvanted to talk to him about something.

Novv, just my opinion mixing languges confuses things and I find it very annoying vvhen it is mixed. Sitting and translating things vvhen I just vvant to read and focus on the topic at hand in English. Like I speak Danish, but I understand the Internet from the very beginning has alvvays been English - and I liked it that vvay and accepted it.

You do not need to do anything on the forum, I knovv it can be a lot of vvork, but I vvanted you to knovv about him and his forum softvvare as an option.

Like if i make an English thread, I vvould like to have people post in English so I do not need to sit and need to translate it.
