Using tag editor for mp4 video file

A few days ago, I discovered that the tag editor can embed an image/cover into an MP4 video file. The image is displayed correctly in Windows Explorer, which is good.
However, the image is not displayed in the info video section of the VLC media player.
When I use MP3tag to embed an image/cover in an MP4 video file, I can see the image in Windows Explorer and VLC media player.
Can you verify whether the fault lies with the AIMP tag editor?
