Yeah probably, I was looking at [DSP] [x32] Enhance Extra bass and treble that you posted. I remember using that version on Winamp probably more than 20 years ago  I'll have to give that 1 a try

I have Windows running in 24 bit audio output mode, all content YouTube streams go without monopoly mode wasapi.Of course for this you need the appropriate hardware.

Same here I got mine in 24bit mode. I can change it to 16 bit right in the options there, but it makes no difference for AIMP issues with enhancer.

I think for further sound upgrade you should move to professional bitrate there you don't need global improvements of this plugin.

I'm don't quite understand what you mean by this?

I think I've got it going good now with no crackles and every sound on the laptop still working with no issues. Had to change the 'Parameters' to 44100hz from 48000hz.  Thanks for the help




lol never mind, as soon as I made the post it started crackling after 45mins of music playing.   Back to the other setting where it can only play audio from 1 program at a time.

I used to use it too until I switched to a high bit rate sound card.The problem with this plugin is that it works properly only in 16 bit mode.I can recommend you as an alternative Enhance Extra bass and treble plugin.

I tried it on this setting and I think it's working ok now, but on this setting It blocks every other sound the laptop wants to make lol.  But as soon as I stop aimp from playing, then all the other laptop sounds start working again.

I put it on DirectSound and 16bit and it's still crackling . This was my favorite plugin ever used on Winamp many many years ago it made everything sound so much better! Would love to get it working properly

You need to switch the option to 16 bit, there will be no problem.

Thanks for the reply, which option would that be? Somewhere in the AIMP settings?

Hello, I am having some issues DSP Enhancer 0.17 I have it installed and it works great! But after about 10 minutes of music playing, it starts to make alot of crackling & popping sounds. I have to close Aimp and start it again, then about 10 minutes later the same thing alot of crackling & popping sounds. It's been like this since I installed the plugin last September. Anyone possibly have any ideas to what could be causing this issues? Thanks for any information!
