Album/Track Covers are not loading unless I manually "write to file"

I have a collection of flac files with embedded cover art + an album cover (cover.jpg) for each album.

In MusicBee the images all show correctly, in AIMP only the album covers seem to work but not the embedded ones for each track.

If I edit the meta data inside AIMP the cover art shows in the editor and I have the option to "write".

I have added a screenshot where you can see the issue.

So far the only solution I have found is to edit every track individually and use the "write to file" function but this will take ages with 300+ tracks.

I have now disabled caching, updated library, restarted AIMP, emptied cache, tried everything else once more but still they do not show up unless I edit the track and check "write to file" on the album art.

Also, most tracks have a unique image (embedded in file) even if they're in an album yet I think it only displays the cover.jpg even for the individual tracks.

So it is unable to load the embedded file but does load the cover.jpg, I just don't want it to show for each track on the album/VA.

I've attached the screenshot. You can also see again that the cover isn't loaded anywhere except the tag editor.

Before I mentioned that the cover does load for albums but I think I accidentally had opened MusicBee where the artworks seem to work.

Where exactly located the album art image that displayed in tag editor? What is the name of the file?
