Trouble with AIMP MP3 Player: Unable to Play Ogg Vorbis Audio Files

1. The file was obtained from a Spotify ripper website downloaded as .ogg
2. I am running latest version V5.30.2549
3. The songs play just fine in VLC media player
4. I have uninstalled and reinstalled AIMP
5. AIMP sometimes freezes when I click to play these .ogg tracks
6. The file shows 0:01 in length in AIMP
7. VLC player shows cover art but I don't see it in AIMP
8. I tried changing the different types of sound devices under preferences but no success. Current sound device is WASAPI: Windows Default
9. Free lossless audio codec under plugins is checked
