Shuffle cannot be turned off in AIMP windows 10

About 2 days ago, when I turn off shuffle (and the button is not illuminated), it still shuffles.  I have been running the same version for about 2 years and made no changes.   I have tried everything to fix it, including installing updates.   Nothing worked, so I reverted to running 5.10.248 x64.  I dont like the newer versions because all profile settings must be redone.  I'm thinking that there is an error in the profile file holding settings.  Can I edit/fix that file? Any other suggestions?

Actually shuffle can be turned off.  It has worked fine for years.  I rebooted the PC and that cleared the problem.   I'm not sure if shuffle works on newer versions.  I am running an older version because losing all my settings and playlists is a showstopper.
