[?] [1246] Cover-art disappears from lockscreen/app status icon

(Seems this issue which I earlier mentioned was _not directly related to online-coverart_ as I originally thought, as it occurs both with files which have embedded coverart, as well as ones where AIMP performs a search and downloads over the Internet.)

Description:

There's a tendency for AIMP to "reset" the coverart displayed on the lock-screen when the player is running and has progressed onto another track or album. When accessing the AIMP app, going to 'Home' and re-locking the device, the coverart displays again. However, it is often reset when the next track starts playing.

I would guess this is related to multitrack files, as it does not make sense for the player to reset the album art, unless it expects this in each track. However, since all tracks are in the same file, there is only one picture to deal with (and download once, for files which do not have a cover attached)

This is for Ogg Vorbis (I manually added covers to test - AIMP sees these, but I noticed similar behaviour as when it downloads cover art in that it is not always displayed when running for a while).

btw.-I believe the player version is still on v3.30.1246 (01-Feb-2023). (I did not see any mention of changes to this in the changelog.)

Player does not have this optimization. It processes all tracks as standalone files.

Yes, player will not display album art for the track, if the app does not find it (in tags, folder or Internet). This is correct behavior.

The funny thing is that AIMP sometimes displays it, sometimes not.

I had thought a simple workaround would be to embed a cover in the file (avoids AIMP from performing searches online for it, and shows the same image for all tracks in the file), but it appears to be the same issue. (Note though that this is *not* an issue when in the player: it always shows the image (either sourced online or from within the file)

It's _not always_ consistent though; even for files which do not have art embedded, it can successfully show it after the player has been running in the background on a locked phone, and proceeded to the next track.

It would probably be beneficial if AIMP either cached the image (when doing online searches, to avoid searching for it again and again and re-downloading), or regarded one-file-one-image, etc.

(If it is the expected behaviour, then this becomes more of a suggestion than a bug, I guess.)

It sounds so strange. Of course, app may failed on attempt to load big image to a memory. Refer to the "About" dialog of the app, and check the "enable logging" option. Restart the app. Now, reproduce an issue and send the log file to me. Please, report to me a approximate time when issue was happened.

CUE-альбомы могут быть разными:
• Один альбом группы = одна обложка.
• Сборник разных песен из разных групп (например Romantic collection) = тут уже в зависимости от тегов, если весь сборник прописан как один альбом - сбрасываться не должно, а если общий альбом не задан, или у каждого трека прописан свой, то обложки будут меняться, или пропадать если по тегам не удалось найти в сети подобного.

The files are all albums in one file (or in the event of a compilation, the collection is registered as an album). The attached cover-art is also not large (usually around 200k or less).
I also add the "Album" tag, but AIMP does not differentiate it seems (uses the first TITLE tag)

I did not have a chance yet due to the ongoing vacation to get a proper test and log file, unfortunately. I will add this when I have it (worst case I can of course provide a sample file.)

Sorry for the late reply. I'm still waiting to do some proper tests with embedded images (have to reprocess the albums with images added, and upload to the cloud, etc.)

I did do more tests with other files, and some instances where AIMP did not show the image art in the lock-screen although it did so in the app. Adding it here in case it is useful.

The root problem though seems to be having a "one-file one-image" functionality, so the cover isn't redownloaded or reloaded from the file during every track skip for embdedded files.

For embedded files (multi-track/single file) the issue might have been the file-size, although that is usually limited to 200kB max.

I'll do more tests on this to make sure.

Can you explain in more details how exactly your files are stored on the device? As I understand, all tracks from album is stored as single physical file, right? Is the file has a CUE sheet? Where are album arts for tracks placed?
