Installing the LoudMax64 DSP as a plugin in x64 AIMP 5.03.2382+

The latest nightly of the x64 AIMP, 5.03.2382, is able to install 64-bit DSP plugins.  I wanted to try the x64 version of LoudMax, a limiter/compressor.  Steps I used:

1.  Download the package here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/29ksdrwtiy2l66k/dsp_LoudMax_v1_41.zip?dl=1

2.  Unzip the file dsp_LoudMax64.dll.

3.  Make a folder named "dsp_LoudMax", and a subfolder in that named "x64."

4.  Rename the unzipped file "dsp_LoudMax.dll" and put it in the x64 subfolder.  I found the install would not work without doing the renaming.

5.  Zip the new folder "dsp_LoudMax" you made in #3, with the x64 subfolder containing the renamed file.

6.  Open AIMP (version info above) and install the plugin as you normally would (Prefs/Plugins/Install), pointing at the zip you just made.

7.  Check its box in the Pugins list to activate.

Access to it is now through the Sound Effects tab; enable in the drop-down, hit the "Preferences" button and adjust accordingly.  Read more about it on the developer's site here: https://loudmax.blogspot.com/

I am not a plugin developer and if anyone finds a more "elegant" way of installing it for AIMP please post!

This is a lot easier to do now since x64 AIMP 5.03.2397.  New instructions for x64:

1.  Download the latest version of the plugin at https://loudmax.blogspot.com, from the link described like "Winamp Plugin v1.42 32/64bit (zipped dll)" under the "Additional Releases" section.

2.  Close AIMP.  In its Plugins folder, make a subfolder named "dsp_LoudMax64," and extract just the file dsp_LoudMax64.dll from the zip you downloaded into the new subfolder.

3.  Start AIMP.  Go to Sound Effects and select "LoudMax v.1.42" from the DSP Plugins drop-box.  Hit the Preferences and adjust the Drive value (I use 2.4).  Close Sound Effects and you're done!

Edited notes from the Developer on the dll version:

"The .. plugin also supports 5.1 surround. Built-in stereo overdrive protection avoids distortions in a subsequent stereo downmix. The Winamp Plugin has a simplified user interface. Only one slider for adjusting the maximum amplification. The maximum output level is 0dB."

I'm trying to install a parametric eq (TDR NOVA) following this tutorial but it doesn't work, the plugin doesn't appear inside AIMP; for some reason the DSP plugins field under Sound Effects appears to be ''disabled''. The version of AIMP is the latest one btw.

Should the DSP be activated somewhere? I can't see any option about that.

EDIT: fixed, I had to install dsp_vst plugin first-
