Bug: Lost EQ-settings and stop audio output via "AAudio"

Hello everyone, I'm new here, but have been reading for years. I have a HiRes player with Android 8.1 (use AIMP for Android 3.21.1177), which should be compatible with "AAudio", which I have also set for the audio output. If I start an internet radio stream or a track from my playlist, it will be played back without any problems. But if I stop playback and then restart it shortly afterwards, the player tries to resume playback. From then on I only hear a short cracking sound, I have to stop and close AIMP. If I start AIMP again, almost all EQ settings are no longer available in the selection, I can only get them back through a backup. A picture as an attachment, on the left with the defective EQ selection, on the right with the restored selection. Additionally the LOG file.

Yes, all output options work, but AAudio bypasses the Android mixer and the sound is sent directly to the DAC in the DX160 for output. Hence the clearer and airier reproduction that is more fun to listen to.

I can hear the differences, with AudioTrack and OpenSL I would describe the hearing impression as if dampened by a layer of cotton wool, something is lacking in brilliance. So there could be something in the description of audio streams on the page https://developer.android.com/ndk/guides/audio/aaudio/aaudio.
I suspect that it has something to do with sharing mode (a little further down on the page) that the interruptions described occur.

OpenSL unable to use built-in to Android sound effects. AudioTrack and AAudio can. AAudio unlike AudioTrack has lower latency. This is a major difference between output modes. AAudio does not bypass system mixer and sound effects.

It seems to depend on which sharing mode is used for AAudio and probably also on the specifics of a HiRes player with its particular audio system. On the page linked by me you can read under "Audio streams": AAudio moves audio data between your app and the audio inputs and outputs on your Android device. Hence the assumption that the stream will not be changed by Android. In any case, I was able to replicate the above effects multiple times with my settings and AIMP. When the playback was stopped and immediately restarted, no reasonable playback was possible and after restarting AIMP, the list of equalizer settings was almost empty. Thank you for the answer.

Hello Artem, is there already knowledge about the behavior mentioned above, that the equalizer settings are lost. I could also provoke the error with aimp_3.21.1178_internal (2022.01.15 10-35). Thank you, Rfx9123

Including the last aimp_3.22.1185_Beta, there is still the problem that sporadically, I shut down the device when not in use, almost all the supplied and also all self-made equalizer settings are no longer available. Are there any other solutions besides trying to sort them alphabetically?

I'm currently using AIMP 3.22.1193. It now happens again more frequently after a restart that the player has lost the EQ settings and only a few default settings are available.
I have to restore all EQ settings, including the ones I have created myself, from a backup. Otherwise I have retained all settings over the last versions. Could AIMP save the settings and EQ settings made in a separate file when exiting and read this file in every restart or compare it with current values to avoid errors? Thank you.
