Playlist Star Ratings Have Disappeared

Hi -- My star ratings that I had given to most of the songs on my numerous playlists have gone away.  I don't know why this happened.  The only thing I can think of is I recently disconnected my external hard drive (where I keep my music library) from my laptop computer.  When I plugged it back in my entire music library was gone and eventually reloaded itself (thousands of tunes).  I think the playlists were gone too, but I don't remember for sure.  The playlists are now back in place just like the library, but the star ratings are gone.  Do you have any suggestions for getting them back?  I'm running Windows 10 Home edition on a Lenovo laptop with 16 GB RAM.

1. What monitoring settings are used in music library? Is the "delete non-existing files from database" option is set?
2. Is the "synchronize user defined rating with file tags" option is set?
3. Does you backup of your settings?

1.  The "delete non-existing files from database" box is checked.
2.  The "synchronize user defined rating with file tags" is not checked.
3.  I don't know where to find the backup of my settings.  Is that this path:  MyName/AppData/Roaming/?  Please see attachments.

So, your files was removed from database as soon as you unplug your external hard drive. That is all according to your settings.

Player makes a backup only before installing the update. You will find the backup here: \Program Files\AIMP\!Backups\

So if I understand you correctly, since my last update was on 5/25/21 to v. 4.70, build 2251, and the backup copy of my playlists found in my PLS folder using the path you mentioned (\Program Files\AIMP\!Backups\) shows 5/25/21 as the latest date for all of my playlist files, that means that I can't recover any changes to my playlists (including star ratings) made after 5/25/21 -- is that correct? 

Or are you saying that my star ratings are simply gone for good, even the star ratings from before 5/25/21?

I don't know if it matters, but I have a manual backup of my playlists that I made a week or two ago by exporting them to my external hard drive separately.  Is there a way I could use that to get the star ratings back -- maybe by copying and pasting it to the backup folder?
