Add a resume delay option for the android app

Hi there,

I have the attached issue when resuming playback after my android head unit comes out of sleep.

I think this is because the app tries to resume playback before all USB devices have been fully mounted.

Would it be possible to add an option to delay resuming playback until devices are mounted or even by x seconds?

I asked the developer of an android head unit rom if it was a bug with the rom and his response was:

"There is nothing I can do here - until the flash drive is mounted, then of course nothing will play, only the authors of third-party players can fix this (they need to make a playback delay when mounting), but unfortunately third-party players are mainly made for phones and not take into account the specifics of our devices (sleep mode)"

Hello,

Please refer to the "About" dialog of the app, and check the "enable logging" option. Now, reproduce an issue and send the log file to me.
If your OS produce broadcast event when USB is ready, I can try to implement retry to restore the state automatically (without the option).

Hi Artem,

I have reproduced the issue and attached the log file. Switched the car off while "Snuff - Demmamussabebonk - 09 Horse And Cart.flac" was playing at 06:44, then went to make some coffee and switched the car back on at 06:56 to see the same error.

Once the car is on I switched track forward then back and the track still cannot play. I have to exit AIMP before that song works again.

Hi Artem,

Sorry for very late reply - the forum mail went to my Junk folder. I have tried the latest version (v3.10, build 1052 newer version than the Beta you uploaded) and have attached the log.
If the radio goes into sleep mode when I switch the car off (while a song is playing) and then restart it tries to resume playback but only continues playing once the USB device is mounted.

In the attached log it was playing "01 Two of a Kind.flac" when I turned the car off and resumed on "Bayside - Bayside - 11 Dear Tragedy.flac". I think it now swallows the exception when it tries to play the song before the USB device in mounted after sleep and keeps trying to play the next song in the playlist.

Thank you for the log. I have checked it and seems you are right, usb-device is not read and app cannot restore the bookmark. But, it seems that you start app manually, right?

Hi Artem,

The rom that I use starts the app automatically after waking from sleep.

I tried your new beta build and it is looking good but it doesn't start playback automatically after waking up from sleep (I have selected "Start playback" on app startup in playback settings).

There are no errors and it continues the song from the point it stopped once USB is mounted and I press play so the behaviour is much improved.

It should restore the state automatically. Please, can you send to me a log from this version?

Log file attached. It opens the app then a second after that I get a popup saying USB-A mounted.

In the log file, I switched off the car while playing "AFI - Answer That and Stay Fashionable - 01 Two of a Kind.flac". When I restarted the car it remembered the place, but didnt resume playing.

I'm not sure if you changed the code as well as added logging in the new beta build that you posted, but I can no longer reproduce the bug.

I just realised that I'm an idiot and the last log that I posted was a playlist on the internal storage so please ignore it. I'll test again now and upload the log when I can reproduce the bug with the playlist on USB device.

OK here is an updated log. After restarting this time I got the error saying file not found when I pressed play.
