Here's how to turn on dark mode in Windows 10: Go to Settings, tap Personalization, tap Colors and then under Choose your default app mode, choose Dark.

So I have to chose dark. But having the entire Win in dark is  to dark for me, I guess. I woul lilke to keep Win like it is and only let Aimp automatically change the colors for Aimp.

Do I see it right: Aimp automatically changes the color to black in the night and white for the day?

It is (and was before the try) set like this:

No, AIMP changes to dark when OS is in dark mode, and to light mode when OS is in light mode. So, OS controls it
