While listening to a stream, mark the current song as 'a repeted song' and go to another favorited station until the length of the song has elapsed. Go back to the original stream. Then check new songs against the list of 'skipped' for, say, 24 hours or exiting AIMP.
This may be out of left field, or it could be the first time in history that you can 'skip' a song in a stream.

Hello,
If you're talking about Internet radios, of course you cannot control those streams.
However, if you're talking about streamings from own's cloud libraries (like the ones managed by the MyClouds or
AudioCloud
plugins), then I think it could be possible to implement. But you've got to have in mind this: playback will be far away from being flawless and comfortable, since once the player finished playing a track, it has to (pre)load a new track, then check in a temporary database if it has been already played and if yes, the player will have to (pre)load another track, and the more tracks the player has played, the more time you will have to wait for the next, unplayed track.

Preloading by stream - I wonder how much it has to preload and how much time it would take?
Why can't AIMP build in the capability of switching to a different radio stream and then back after the length of the 'skipped' song? I suppose it might have to be another level of control over playlist switching for streams and local playlists.
Interesting - I wonder if preloading is simultaneous to playing that part of the stream?
