I can't maximize the player window!

I don't know how this happened, but suddenly I can't maximize the player window. The maximize button has faded away, and now the display jumps between the mini-player and the taskbar - it never used to jump to the taskbar before!   How can I get the maximized window back?  I'm using 64-bit Windows 7. I'm using AIMP v 4.02.1717 -- should I find a later version?  Help!  Thanks very much for your assistance.  M

Possibly none, or possibly one of the two that were provided when I installed AIMP; Bliss or Dark Bliss, both "version 1.28, Standard skin for AIMP v4", authored by the AIMP  DevTeam.  I never applied a skin before today, as far as I know, until I tried changing settings to make the maximized window come back.  I don't see any change in appearance of the mini-player when I select and then "Apply" either one.  M
