How could one manually start a single scan of one's music folders

How could one manually start a single scan of one's music folders respectively of the activated ones:


I do not want Aimp automatically scan the music folders, so with this options not enabled Aimp does not do any action to update the library, is it right:


How can one interrupt / pause a library scan or stop it?
