No, what reason to do it?

I cannot get Aimp to work for all of my music files so a thought could be to split my music on several database / libraries.

And I had forgotton that "Delete non-existing files from data base" this option means music files on drives not being plugged in will be removed from the database, so I would have added an updated database / library (gone because I activated that option) of the external drives to the productive one.
