Here are pictures again with the difference in energy consumption between version 4.02.1368 and version 4.05.1393. I installed the latest version again today especially for comparison.

Это не реальное потребление АИМП
Это прогноз системы на основе среднего потребления за несколько часов

It's due to AIMP, because I was able to reproduce this behavior several times with the higher energy consumption. That's why I've only now brought this topic up again.

Testing stand:
mp3, 320 kbps, 2 hours of playback in background mode (app minimized, screen is off)
Here are my results:
v4.02.1368: 44% -> 37%
v4.05.1376: 37% -> 30%
v4.05.1388: 60% -> 53%
v4.05.1393: 48% -> 42%
So, as you can see, power consumption is almost equal.

First of all, a happy new year. It probably also depends on the device and how the audio files are processed internally. iBasso advertises that it hands over the processing of the hardware, its bypassing Android SRC restrictions.
By the way, I don't use AIMP in the background, I just turn off the screen to quickly get back into the app, for example to change the playlist. "AIMP" is the only app I use for music, alongside the rarely used app "Radionator". I have deactivated all other Android apps (Google) that are not necessary for a media player so that they are no longer active in the background.
