I want to thank you for sharing, I have installed the latest version of AIMP 64-bit and your aimp_webLyrics.ini file works perfectly.
You are welcome JeepWillys58, I'm happy to give the coders' generosity the widest use.The way the forum is set up (bi-lingual, "child boards", etc) can make it difficult to navigate. I see that the last version of aimp_webLyrics.ini I posted here (23/12/20) is a bit old. I have attached my latest version to this post, which includes a new major lyrics source (LRCLIB) thanks to Endg4me_.If you also use it for finding album art (incl. for streams), a couple of major HQ sources from Apple are included as well. I recommend that in Prefs/Player/Additional Information/Album Arts you increase the "Maximum file size for download" to 2000 KB to accomodate these files. "Find on the Internet" should also be checked of course. Thanks again for your comments!
Thanks for your compliments; keep in mind though that it's other people's work that made these extra lyric retrieval scripts, I only combined them into one file and made it available here.A lot of the script people for this plugin post here: https://www.aimp.ru/forum/index.php?topic=57148.0Since you just started using AIMP, be sure to try out its many options such as alternate skins, Internet radio stream listening and recording, plugins like "OpenWith", etc. You can even create your own skin, or edit existing ones, with the AIMP Skin Editor application. I used that to make skin text easier to read and to add an audio Spectrum display to the main body (see attachment). Enjoy this great player.
Just downloaded the newest portable version and copied it over the old portable one which is strangly the same version
Look at my attachment and you see where the lyrics appear.
