1) Could you explain how to use it? I tried it, but I have just something like "(2)" or no track number and even no title. 

EDIT: Now I'm using this:

%Artist - %Album\%R - %Format - %T

Before your suggestion I used this:

%Artist - %Album\%R - %tn - %T

It was OK, but only one digit for track number.

Is there any list of all options / macros in English?

I suggest 2 options:

- Auto remove played file from playlist
- Auto disable played file from playlist

Just remove (or disable) played file automatically. It would be useful if we want to listen an album just one time and it would be very useful also to prevent the problems when using a Shuffle option, with this option no file would be played twice, or even more times!

Remove / disable file if it was played fully only, or if it was played to the end - not if the next file button/hotkey was used.

Please confider these suggestions for audio converter:

1) Add %tntd (track number two digits, always, e.g. 01, 02 instead of 1, 2)

2) "Remove source file after successful conversation" is a bit misleading, "remove" is often used just to remove item from list, I suggest to use "delete" if the item is removed from disk.

3) Add item "Remove items from list after successful conversation" - so it will be easy to add the new files, now I have to remove items first, so I can see the new items.

4) Warn before conversion in some situations:
- when converting file to same bitrate (e.g. 320 vs 320 kbps)
- when converting file to higher bitrate (e.g. 128 to 320 kbps, or to FLAC)

I tried to press down, up and Enter, but it doesn't work, I tried it with Gilly Matt&Glossy skin and Bliss 4K skin, items look selected, but Enter to play doesn't work.

Why? just click on "X" button that located at right side of quick search edit.

My favorite skin - and it looks almost all other skins don't have the

• button - and it's not possible to edit skin AFAIK. 

Perhaps at least after tab change and/or AIMP exit it could automatically clear that field.

Another suggestion - when I use a hotkey to activate quick search, the text could be selected (if there's any), so it would be possible to easily change it, currently we have to clear old text first.

Windows 10 has a very useful feature: press Win key, start typing, press Enter key - program/item is opened!

It's very fast, I can start a calculator for example just like this: Win+cal+Enter - try it!

My suggestion is to add something similar to AIMP, it has a feature Quick search already, there's an issue (reported here), anyway, once it will be fixed/changed, it could be working like this:

- use a global hotkey to activate AIMP and focus Quick search field
- start typing a song name
- press Enter to start playing first song found

Currently when I type a song name and press Enter, nothing happened, filter is working even without Enter, so it has no function, so why not just start playing first song?

This way it could be working like the Windows feature above: Ctrl+Shift+Q+type song name+Enter=play!

Another suggestion, quick search / filter is always active, even after AIMP restart and with the skin I'm using it's not possible to easily deactivate it with mouse, I have to select a text with mouse and press Del key, so my suggestion is to add option:

Deactivate quick search on:
[v] AIMP exit
[v] Tab change
[ ] Next song start playing

When reporting bugs, it's useful to add the version user is using, so perhaps it would be useful if the text in About dialog or/and Options > Update checker would be selectable, so user could select and copy the version text - or even better, add a button to copy version text to clipboard.

Thanks for hint.

However, the problem is, that while any song is playing and I move or delete it in the file manager, error dialog is shown, so I can use a global hotkey/multimedia key to stop the song, but I have to click also the error dialog.

I will be using stop key+click "retry", I found, that using just Stop+Enter doesn't work, so if I want to use just keyboard, I have to use Stop+Left arrow+Enter.

This feature would be very useful for me. Just release the file while playing, so that user can move it or delete it.

Currently, if I want to play the file and then delete it or move it in the file manager, I have to switch to AIMP and stop it first, every time - if not there's an annoying error dialog, so I have to close dialog, stop file in AIMP and then switch to file manager and delete it.

I'm using cache size 20 MB, so the file could be playing even if deleted, I think Winamp has such option.

Anyway, video player PotPlayer has this option even for 20GB files, it's possible to move them or delete them (to recycle bin) while it's still playing, it's very useful and I really miss this feature in AIMP.

I couldn't find the option to refresh smart playlist, finally I found it as "Reload data from preimage", it was not easy to find and I had no hotkey for this option either.

I think it should be easier to refresh smart playlist for changes, the option is missing in the standard context menu in playlist, in tab title context menu (right click menu).

Consider to add this option there and also add default hotkey, F5 or Ctrl+R, if it's free.

It's not the same, because I have to select the file first and then use the keyboard shortcut, which I'm not using often, moreover, I have to use both hands.

Middle click to add the file to queue is useful and fast, but when I click it twice (by mistake), the same file is added multiple times and removing file from queue is not so easy.

I suggest to make the middle mouse button click the toggle button, also the Queue keyboard shortcut, so when 1 file is selected and I middle click once, the file will be added to queue, when I middle click again, remove the file from queue.

Alternatively, option to prevent adding the same file multiple times would be helpful and would solve this problem too.

Video players has even 3 seek options, for left/right, Ctrl+left/right, Shift+left/right, it's quite useful and I think it would be useful also for audio player.

Could you add additional seek option, so we could use left/right to seek 5 sec., and with another custom shortcuts, Ctrl+left/right, add another custom value, to seek 30 sec, or 60 sec...?

I found, that similar option is already implemented, for playlist scroll, normal scroll, alt, ctrl, so something like that for seek, but please allow to use a custom shortcut.

This is mainly for the Default playlist, when I move the files, Default playlist has one or more files which can't be played, so I delete them, but after the next AIMP start Default playlist is missing too, when I play another file, it's create, but the position is changed, so I have to manually fix it, this is quite annoying.

Could you add option to maintain the tabs even if it's empty, please? At least for Default playlist.

AIMP has very good support for keyboard shortcuts, local, 2x global, multimedia key support, but it has very limited mouse buttons/shortcuts support.

I'm already using external program as workaround, but not everything is possible.

AIMP has very useful feature, middle click in playlist to quickly add item to queue, but how many users know about this?

My request is to add custom mouse shortcuts, another column in the Hot keys option, so any command could be assigned to any mouse button, mouse shortcut or keyboard+mouse shortcuts.

- left button
- left double click
- middle button
- right button
- wheel up
- wheel down
- wheel tilt left
- wheel tilt right
- keyboard+mouse shortcuts, e.g. Ctrl+wheel, Shift+wheel...
- mouse shortcuts, e.g. right+left button, right button+wheel...*

* I'm not sure if this is possible, it's probably not a standard, but it's useful, of course, this is not so important.

I can assign all these to any command using the HotkeyP program, but it's for main AIMP window and playlist, I can't create different commands for main window and playlist.

Few examples:

1) Wheel to change volume is useful for some users, but I need the same volume and I often change it by mistake, when I want to scroll the playlist, so I'd like to disable the option "change volume with wheel" completely.

2) Wheel tilt is very useful and many mice has this feature, I'm using it for tab change in browsers, file managers, in AIMP I'm using it to switch the song/file, but it's possible only using external program, like HotkeyP or AutoHotkey. Another problem is, that I can't use different command for playlist.
