Hello!
This would solve at least two scenarios:
And, since EQ presets and the equalizer itself are closely related, then I think it would be an elegant solution to have them both in just one window.

By the way, The Sound Effects window (Ctrl + E) has 5 tabs: Sound Effects, Equalizer, Volume, Mixing, and Remove Silence. The Presets popup dialog is the only extra window in all of these five tabs. I think this is another reason why it should be merged within the Equalizer tab.

This would solve at least two scenarios:
- Less clicks needed. It translates to a quicker way to reach both the equalizer main window AND the equalizer presets dropdown menu.
- Less popup dialogs. It translates to less use of screen, because it would use one window only. This is especially important for netbooks and mid end laptops.
And, since EQ presets and the equalizer itself are closely related, then I think it would be an elegant solution to have them both in just one window.
