Hello, I'm new here, so... sorry if I'm writting it at the wrong place or topic.
I'm an old AIMP user. I think I've been using it since the first time Winamp "died". And I've always used an old Winamp plugin called VST Host. I'ts from the late 90's, when everything in Windows was 16/32-bit and all audio apps wouldn't go further than 44100kHz.
Well, what this plugin does? You can process AIMP sound with any VST effect or VST audio monitoring installed on your Windows, as shown in pictures here. There you can load Compressors, Limiters, EQs, Spectrum Analysers... But as it's a very old plugin, it's limited to 32-bit VSTs and 44100kHz. I'm not a programmer, so I have no idea how to build it myself. Then I'm leaving the idea here for the smarter guys and I hope someone could see any use in this. I would love to see a forked better version of this thing as I can't listen to music without it. I'm addicted to this VST host
