When I click the "..." (misc menu) on the bookmarks window nothing happens (no menu pops up). However, other misc menus (e.g. for playlists) work ok. What could be causing this? I'm using ver. 5.11.2436 x32.
Is there a way to export/import bookmarks to/from an xml in ver 5.x? I have a lot of bookmarks that no longer work because the files they point to have changed locations on disk. In ver. 4.x I simply opened the bookmarks.xml in notepad++ and replaced the wrong paths, but aimp 5.x stores them in a binary database file which there doesn't seem to be an editor for.
I'd like to upload a couple of albums from an artist to my google drive, but they reside in different locations on my disks. To achieve that I click on one track from each album and select "File location". I then drag and drop each folder onto my google drive. Is there an easier way to do that? An addon that would let me click on an artist/album/whole library and collect all folders into one (or zip them)?
How can I speed up skipping tracks played from a cloud (google)? It takes around 10 seconds before a new track loads and starts playing after I click on it (the old one keeps on playing still). I've looked in Preferences but the only relevant option I've found was "Pre-load next track..." which works only for the next track in the list but not when I manually pick a track. Is download speed a factor here? I don't have the best internet (4MB/s download), but it should do, no?
The point is to have a way of ignoring a folder by the app on Windows. Git does that with .gitignore, so aimp could have .aimpignore for example. Would you consider implementing that?
Ok, but suppose you had one main folder. Instead of checking all subfolders one by one except the one you don't want indexed you could just add the main folder with 'sub-folders' checked and let aimp do the work for you ignoring every folder that has a .nomedia file in it.
Ok, thanks. And could you make it so that bookmarks are back on the playlist window (under the star icon) as it was in older versions and not in the music library or that they're in both places (for more convenience)?
After updating to the newest version from ver. 4.7 I've noticed that when double clicking on a bookmark aimp no longer starts playing from the saved position but always from the beginning (I have to right-click on a bookmark and select "Play selected file" to make it happen). Is it somehow possible to change that back to how it was before?
