Hi,
I´m back,
This week i bought a DELL XPS 8900, with Intel Core I7 6900, 16GB of the RAM, same video board the XPS 8700 one GTX745. I made the new install of the WIN11 24H2 English USA.
The Aimp 5.40.2669_w64 works like a charm, any issue. The VU´s work likes in Windows 10 and Windows 11 23H2  . I get the entire SSD of the XPS 8900 e put in XPS 8700, without any updates, all issues are present! I made drives updates with Windows update, same issue, i made a video...

Thanks, no more memory error  But the the issues with skins continues, the counter remains at zero and vu´s no move, the spools do not fill  . No sound issues, the music run fine.

Same issue, but no was generated bug repoert file, i made a clean install too.

Hello,
I used AIMP for Windows, version AIMP AIMP v5.40.2655 on my  DELL XPS 8700 Intel  Core I7 4790 Desktop with 16GB of RAM on Windows 11 23H2, everything works perfectly. I updated to Windows 11 24H2, AIMP are horrible! The Tascan 32 and another SKINs  doesn't work anymore, the VU´s pointers don't move still stoped, and doesn't respond to controls, and it gives some memory error! I did a clean install of Windows 24H2, same problem, it only  works  well  when I start AIMP as administrator user, this issues  will stop. Any solutions?

В масштабе 150 % и более так и будет, оно у всех так, даже процессор 14 поколения подобные скины с масштабированием не тянет.
Я сравнивал по бобинникам для 4К мониторов, там нагрузка не изменилась, что в 24Н2, что в 22Н2, не более 10%.

In Windows 11 23H2 works fine, in Windows 11 24H2 with administrator priviles acticed, works fine too, mistery.

Hi,
I installed in C:/AIMP, same issues  . The Tascan 32 Skin the timer clock no works, the buttons no have response, the VU´s still stoped. if i run with administrator privileges, all issues go away. I think this problemm is the Windows 24H2 UAC.

I did an in-place upgrade to Windows 11 24H2 x64 from 23H2 via the Microsoft ISO.  This is with a Dell XPS 8960 with 32MB RAM and the Intel I7-13700.

Before and after I am using AIMP 5.30.2563 x64, Portable.  I have encountered absolutely no negative effects or regressive behavior at all, it runs as smooth and stable as it did before, including meter plugins, etc.  I am using a slightly modified (e.g. text fonts) Charm 1.36 skin.

I run Windows as an Administrator user, no UAC.  I do not use "Run as administrator" with AIMP.

What this means I guess is that neither 24H2 nor AIMP 5.30.2563 are the problem.  Why don't you try a test install of the Portable in a folder not part of the Windows permissions hierachy, like c:\AIMP, and see if you have the same issues using a stock skin.  Be sure you have excluded the AIMP folder in Windows Defender, and check to be sure your AIMP "Sound Output" settings in Preferences haven't changed.

I made tests with clean install of the aimp_5.40.2647_RC_w32_debug.exe Same issues, my video board is a NVIDIA GTX750 with last drives. If i run with administrator privileges the issues go off.

Is possible a make a version from AIMP for Windows with a "real" virtual tape display? The actual version the virtual tape display
 seens the reel time for current track/file. Is possible to change for display all time from playlist, like a real world player?

Great!!! I can´t read in Russian  , i found the controller now  This skin is the my main for now  .
