What reason for?To let Aimp show it while playing the music of that album.

Why you don't want to save it file tags?May be to save space on the drive. And I could watch the covers with other programs, file managers, image viewers, etc. And I don't know how to save a cover to all of the tracks of one album with a single click or so.

I had not, because the next track in the playlist didn't show any image and since I posted here there many new tracks has been played with the album images and without any image. Now I try flushing, no image.
