I just found out about Aimp yesterday and after I looked over all available Skins I finally stumbled upon this little fellow.
After giving it a bit of a trial, I can say that the Combination of Aimp and Ora Mulih is quite the ticket.
You´ve done a great job!
Not only the main-interface scored but also the Equalizer. I have 1920x1200 Res. on my NB so the default EQs seem to be very often pretty tiny. For me, yours is just perfect in every way.
Still I have a few suggestions:
First a question: is it a big thing to make the four elements main/eq/visualization/albumart modular? would be a nice high res solution if one could assemble them freely together. First suggestion: Ora Mulih -modular version.
The second one refers to the jpeg in the attachment. On the right side there is Codec(mp3),Bitrate(192kbps) andsamplingrate(44khz).
I would use the space to full capacity and display there more information (eg: filesize, length) and in this process scale eg CodecInfo down (guess, needless to say). I would surely also change the font colour to have a little more contrast. Its a bit hard to read like that.
My third and last suggestion ist also related to the location the attachment displays. I like the small size cause some of my pictures have bad qualitiy.. but I would nevertheless enlarge the AlbumCoverArt on the left between 5 to 10mm diagonal. I guess you wont have to resize the whole section for that and it would make a difference.
I read you dont have a lot of time now, but anyway, you asked for it ;) hopefully you find some day time to continue your good work. I forgot the UI Editor: nice one!
AllinAll very well thought out.
thanks a lot mate
Edit: IF YOU EVER want to create a modular version of this fine Skin, I would let go of the additional sound effects or, idea: integration in UI Editor therfore optional . In All-In-One Version is, like you have realized, space no Problem, modular on the contrary... Greetings to Russia
