Just wanted to say a big thanks to the authors of the hifi skins. The skins are absolutely amazing. 

Anyone currently working on something new?

Bugs / Aimp crashing or freezing when changing volume

Several users seem to have a problem with crashing or freezing, either after some seconds of playing time or almost immediately when changing the system volume.

I can confirm that on 3 different systems with "Sonic Studio software" installed the problem persisted until the software was uninstalled. I should mention that I could find no serious use for the software package other than crashing AIMP.

if the software is listed in Programs/Uninstall then just go ahead and kick it from Windows. Reboot and you should be fine.

BUT Depending on the chipset and drivers you've installed there's a good chance that "Sonic Studio" is NOT listed in your Programs/Uninstall list. Then the software was automatically installed with the drivers that came with your mainboard. For those of you who are using a seperate sound card anyway (like myself) you can simply uninstall the drivers for the OnBoard soundchip (which hopefully is the culprit who brought the Studio on your PC in the first place).

If the Sonic Studio Software came with your main soundchip/card then you should try to uninstall the complete driver/software package and wipe the driver files from your PC after deinstalling the device. Then use the standard windows driver for those chipsets and optionally install any tools available for the chipset - of course avoiding to reinstall the "Sonic Studio" 

  I really hope you guys can solve the "Sonic Studio" problems that way.

btw. After uninstalling Sonic some lags I've experienced during gameplay/videos where gone as well. So the sonic package has other flaws and effects too and should not be on your PC anyways.
