I am using procmon64.exe to find the temporary path where the lyrics plugin saves the downloaded html file and then analyize it.
I found out that using these parameters work (at least for now):

Thank for your feedback. Since we can have multiple lyrics providers in the weblyrics.ini it's okay to have that node as lyrics start parameter. But it's not satisfying at all to know it might change up from time to time. It would work if the plugin would automatically detect the node end by searching for the next ">" from the LyricsTextStartTags parameter or if there's another way to do so.

Hey guys.

The problem I am currently facing is that Genius introduced a html heading node directly before the beginning of the lyrics text "[Intro]" for example.

I wonder what options can be used in the weblyrics plugin for example:
- built-in commands (replace, trim, strleft, strpos, etc.)
- built-in variables (%value, %artist, etc.)
- filter options
- encodings and how they are processed
etc.

If I use my current config for example "Vossy Bop lyrics" will be written before "[Intro]" which is the content of the recently introduced html node from Genius.
If I take "<div data-lyrics-container" as LyricsPageTextStartTags parameter the plugin will include ""true" class="Lyrics__Container-sc-1ynbvzw-6 jYfhrf">" before the main lyrics start.

I hope there will be an answer on this so we can build a solution for this.

I changed three parameters in the config file to parse the raw lyrics part from the always existing raw data json node. But the lyrics post process function doesn't return the corrent value since the expression doesn't replace the given character. I will post the code and some example lyrics below.

I edited my config from the previous post a little since the LyricsPageTextFinishTags had multiple occurrences for some songs.
Now it should work flawless. Also added the base-url for the lyrics page the data are loaded from as PostProcessExpression as bottom line of the lyrics data.

I'm using the exact same lines you posted before except the last two. For completeness sake, below is my full config.
Keep in mind that the Genius URL structure is as follows: genius.com/{artist}-{title}-lyrics

Example: You have the following song including ID3-Tags in MP3 file - "Kool Savas - AMG"
But the correct URL in genius is: "genius.com/kool-savas-and-alies-amg-lyrics"
So, because of some smaller feature artists the plugin might not find a result.
I tested it with around 20 files and like 80-90% are downloaded from genius (you can see that in the .LRC file that is placed next to the mp3 file you played).

I played around with the config file of aimp_webLyrics.dll and found a solution that works for most of the songs. Below is the config section for genius.com.
Note that some songs might not be found and you will need another page to load lyrics from. The reason for this is the artist info of the ID3-Tag in the MP3-File itself and how the Genius-URL is built.

Hey.

When a song is loaded and the lyrics get downloaded for the first time the textbox is filled with the lyrics text and scrolls to the top. Everything fine until now.
If you play a song for which lyrics have been downloaded in the past the textbox will load the .lrc file and scroll to bottom.
It would be nice if the textbox would always scroll to top if the data in it are loaded.

Hey there.

I would like to add Genius Lyrics (https://genius.com/) as one page where the lyrics get requested from.

I know that there's a tag on the website starting with: "<meta content="{"chartbeat" holding ALL the songs information in json format (artist, title, image-urls, producers, etc) and another node <div class="lyrics" that contains a simple <p> holding the lyrics in html format (obviously) since I wrote an app that fetches lyrics from there.
The URL structure is as follows: genius.com/{artist}-{title}-lyrics

Is there any explanation of the parameters within the config file and how the dll parses the result so I can try to implement the request to genius lyrics through the config?

Cool skin. How do I view the lyrics window? I am using AIMP 5 beta version.

Nevermind this question, I found out the page changes as you click the cover art in the bottom left corner.
But I would like to make one suggestion. It would be nice if the lyrics textbox could have a larger with since the line breaks are a little off.
