Title: Android Auto voice commands
Post by: Progabilly on June 06, 2023, 22:35:11
Specifically, with Android Auto voice commands, can I turn On/Off shuffle mode with a voice command? What are those commands? More generally is there a list of commands that AIMP will accept from Android Auto?

So far I am aware of Play Playlist <name of playlist>
Play <song name>.

I am guessing that there are others.

Most voice commands are handled by Android itself, sending the final action to the app. Lets see, what Android send to the app on "On/Off shuffle mode": refer to the "About" dialog of the app, and check the "enable logging" option. Now, invoke the voice commands and send the log file to me. Please, report to me a approximate time when issue was happened.

It seems that Google is unwillilng to forward audio player commands to AIMP.

I ask it to Play Playlist xxxx and it tells me I need Youtube Music.

I will try the command suggested above

I was able to create a Routine "Play music" mapped to a command "Open AIMP application and unpause music" which makes it play current track in AIMP.
I also added a routine "Open AIMP app" to show AIMP app.
