In the last years, i payed for some players, which could not handle FLAC or HTTP
Freeware:
VLC could'nt - don't know why - maybe, all of them can ONLY hanlde MP3 streams !
StreamWriter:
Only MP3 streams!
Shareware:
Audials can't connect to all the streams, which i tried - No FLAC, No m3u - Nada!
On the way, to search for android players, which stream HTTP on my BlackBerry's,
I found an advice, to give AIMP a try.
BINGO !
Usually, i search for older versions for my BlackBerry 10 on uptown.com.
But this time, i was absolutly surprised from AIMP !
The "oldest" android version, which can run on BlackBerry 10, wasn't old enough!
Accidently, i found very old versions on the AIMP site!
I installed on eof the oldest and updated as long as i couldn't install any further.
Amazing! AIMP play allmost every FLAC stream, i searched for.
At least much more than other App's !
Because, on most building projects, i don't have network.
So, i installed AIMP on WSS 2012 r2 - to stream FLAC webradio.
Now, i can listen to high res audio on my BlackBerry Q10 - on 400 GB Micro SD card
P.S.
OK - FLAC over Bluetooth to - par example - JBL, isn't real High Res audio ;)
But, i tried a few streams, which i played right from the BB Browser,
- and from AIMP.
Although, AIMP isn't a native player on BB 10 - the result was much better.
At least, for my 64 years old - little bit demaged ears 8)
