Title: Is there a way to automatically sort a group of files opened externally?
Post by: Voxtopass on March 17, 2022, 08:29:00
If I'm in file explorer or another place I can open files, and I open some files from the same folder (by the same artist), is there a way to have them always sort automatically when they open? I've tried every combination of options (like adding to "default" playlist and such) but the files are always in a weird order (not by file name, track order, or album). I know there is a sort template section, but it doesn't affect files opened externally. Every other music player I've used automatically puts them in track order or sorts them by file name, but I can't figure out how to do it.

No, only smart-playlists has an ability to sort content automatically

Okay. Can I submit this as a feature request then? Should I make a new post in the other section?
