Title: deactivating functions in the playlist
Post by: alexpro on November 22, 2021, 00:58:07
hello everyone,

1) how can i deactivate the function which allows tracks in the playlist to be moved up or down?
(it's for rehearsal in my theatre and i don't want the users to change the playlist track order)

2) how can i deactivate the "track pre-active selection function" in the playlist?  (i don't know how it's called, but i mean this function which allows tracks only to be marked when clicked once, but to be played only when double-clicked --- i don't want the users to be "confused" by the one-click pre-selective function because most of them aren't very good in using computer audio players and playlists)

3) another question, not concerning playlists but buttons: when i click a button (play, pause, or stop) with the mouse it changes colours for a short time to give a visual feedback -> cool!   but when i click it with my fingers via the tablet touch screen it does not change colours... how can i change it so it also changes colours when clicked with fingers on the touch screen tablet?

4) aaaand another question that just popped up in my head: is it possible to always place the player in the center of the screen when opened?

thanks for your answers,
alex / Саша

Hello,

1-2. I afraid it impossible.
3. I have tested touch with latest 5.00 release and it seems to work correctly. Can you provide more details about the issue?
4. No

1. You can use the "Lock from changes" option to prevent accidental reordering (see tab context menu).

You mean i have to "increase the sensitivity" when something is pushed only via touch screen?

I'll try to explain it more detailled:

When i click the Play button (which is white in my Skin) with a computer mouse, it turns orange for a short time. It's a visual feedback so the user knows that the button has been clicked.

But when i click the Play button only with the fingers via the touch screen of the microsoft surface tablet, it does NOT turn orange for a short time. So there's no visual feedback for the user that tells him he had clicked the button.

But i want the button to also turn orange for a short time, when it is clicked with fingers, so the user knows he had clicked it. Know what i mean?

So basically... i want the buttons to behave the same, no matter if it is clicked with a computer mouse or with fingers on the touch screen. Which parameter/function controlls this finger-clicking?  Which parameter makes it turn orange, when finger-clicked?
