Title: Audio Converter making larger files than source
Post by: zobby on July 16, 2021, 15:43:03
Hi
I am new to the forum and I am here to ask a question about the audio conversion feature.
I am using Aimp version 4.70 build 2248 and I am converting many albums I have which are consolidated in a single track with a cue sheet file.
Problem is that although I select zero compression without basically changing the properties of the audio file the result is in separate track files which are larger in size that the source all together. A blatant particular I noticed is that the Bitrate is increased in the resulted converted files, so I supect there must to be some settings which I am not aware of in terms of retaining bitrate as obviously this is increasing the file size unnecessarily.
I have attached a screenshot of the conversion settings to give an idea.
If you could please help me on this I would appreciate.
Thanks for your attention.

Use Sample Format 16 bit and Middle/Best Compression
