Title: AIMP add folders from Onedrive App
Post by: nejcek74 on June 15, 2021, 00:00:02
I am trying to use AIMP to listen my music files that I have synced with my phone with Onedrive Android App.

1. if I go to Onedrive app => select file => play with AIMP => the AIMP opens , but I get this error message:
"unable to load and play file  Error: file was not found" (first there is a baloon message showing path to the file, but it is gone to fast for me too read)

2. if I go to AIMP app => default playlist, I see added files, but I cannot play them the same

3. if I go to add files, I cannot find where the Onedrive folder with music is.

Is what i wanted to do possible at all? What is the best way to add my whole folder structure inside the Onedrive Music Folder?

To play music from OneDrive cloud use built-in clouds support.

Thank you for your reply.

I guess you are talking about:

default playlist => add.... => add files => add storage => windows shared folder

I add "https://onedrive.live.com" as a server, and than using my username and password to authenticate, but it fails to connect: "jcifs.smb.Smb.Exception......"

is this the right way? I am sorry, but it is hard to find any information.

additional question: if I am going this way, will AIMP be able to play music also when I am offline, benefiting from the fact that my onedrive music files are set as "available offline"

Oh, you are talking about mobile version... I afraid mobile does not support clouds
