Title: Insert "Pause/Stop" command into the Queue
Post by: Laster2800 on March 01, 2021, 11:20:15
This allows the AIMP to pause/stop after a specific song, or simply pause/stop at the end of the Queue.

PC version. But this seems to be also good for mobile version, right?

You can do it now via sleep timer feature

This is really something I didn't know before. But after trying it out, it feels counter-intuitive for this operation, shouldn't this be put into the queue manager?

Can you explain your scenario in more details?

As shown in the attachment. It would be nice to add the corresponding shortcut keys.

I think pausing/stopping after the queue has finished is a very common scenario and I don't know what to explain. It certainly makes sense to be able to do it via sleep timer, but it's not intuitive and should only be treated as an alternate entrance. This is my most basic suggestion: this function should be able to be enabled in the queue manager.

As for the more extended solution "advanced.png", you don't have to care. It can solve a quite complex scenario that doesn't make sense for 99.9% of users. I don't think there is any need to explain this usage scenario either, "advanced.png" itself is a very good example of the scenario.

Workaround, select items in playlist with Ctrl+click, then drag&drop them to Default playlist (or any Temp playlist) - then you can even use the queue to play in different order.
