In the \Profile\PLS\ folder all playlists are stored.
Whenever I change something in a playlist a new version is added.
Meanwhile some playlist reached number 37 and are named e.g.
melody (37).aimppl4
Can I somehow limit the number of backups to e.g. 2?
Furthermore I have a problem with the absolute paths in Playlist files.
On the one hand my AIMP installation is on drive D:\.......
On the other hand I put all my *.mp3 songs onto an USB flash drive.
I want to be able to take them with me to other people and computers.
However when I plug the USB flash drive into my computer the drive letter may change. (e.g.from F:\ to G:\ or H:\
If the drive letter changes all the (absolute) paths in the *.aimppl4 playlists are not valid any more.
How can I solve this problem?
The playlist should be valid regardless of the driver letter.
Thank you
Peter

We have no versioning for playlists.

Its mean that you have few playlists with same display name.

You can enable auto-deleting playlist file on closing it tab. Just refer to app settings.

I afraid it impossible for now. Internal playlists always uses absolute file paths.

Save (export) playlists, only on USB flash drive, in any of the five directories
X: \ Music \ Genre \ Artist \ Albums \ album track – depending on what criteria compiled playlist.
When you save, turn off the checkbox «Absolute file paths»
