Title: Undo function in tags editor
Post by: gaparici on December 14, 2019, 02:01:07
Sometimes I carry on a bulk change on mp3 files ID3v2 tag and realize that the change was wrong. Or sometimes I want to do the change in just one file but I don't realize that I have several (or maybe all) files selected; instead of selecting the individual file I forget to turn off the "select all". The result is that the change is applied to several (or maybe all) files and then I can't go back. The editor doesn't have an Undo function to go back to the previous state. I think that an editing app, specially this that deals with hundreds or thousands of files at the same time, should have an Undo function. Thanks.

Hello,

Could you please elaborate a little more? Some screenshots or animated GIFs maybe?

I use the AIMP's Tag Editor truly a lot and, as far as I remember, I have never edited a file by mistake. At least to me, the Tag Editor's user interface —including its cursor/selection— is very intuitive (clear and easy to use).

It would be very helpful if you bring more feedback to us, to understand your situation. ;)

Regards.
