Title: Ability to exclude playlist files from Smart Playlists
Post by: bwbalazs on November 02, 2019, 02:31:26
Hello.

I would like to ask you to add playlist files (m3u, pls and so on - but these two are the most important ones) to the "Skip files with the following extensions" in the Smart Playlists - folders -> Settings tab.

Thank you,
Balazs

What reason for? Playlists files are not included for folder based smart-playlists.

Ugh, really.
Thanks for the clarification.

I thought music files are appearing twice in the playlist due to the m3u files, but I tested some settings now and I realized it wasn't due to that.

I have a folder called Music and the "Sub-folders" checkbox was ticked on, and also all of the subfolders were added separately as folders.
So first it scanned the Music directory, went through recursively on all of its subfolders. Then again, because the subfolders were added as separate folders in the Smart Playlist window, they were added once again.

Thanks for the information.
I think you should filter out duplicate files from playlists, but that's just my opinion.

My problem was solved though. :)
